BUREAU BARME

This interior renovation of a 1980s villa focuses on the complete transformation of the ground floor. 

The existing partitions aree removed to create an open, flowing, walk-through space. The central staircase becomes the structuring element of the project, around which a wooden core integrates the service and storage functions. This intervention frees the main space of all superfluous elements, providing a very clear reading and circulation. The route around the core is continuous, naturally connecting the different living areas.

Some elements of the thermal envelope have been replaced to meet current standards without altering the identity of the existing building.
