BUREAU BARME

The future University of Teacher Education (HEP) will be built near the railway and residential area in Saint-Maurice, reconnecting a formerly disused zone with the urban center. 

The new building, adjacent to the station, creates a protected public space between itself, the existing Cargo building, and a future media library. Designed for flexibility and sustainability, it includes open teaching spaces, a cafeteria in a renovated freight hall, and a rooftop with solar panels and rainwater recovery. 

A passive climate system ensures year-round comfort. The layout promotes pedestrian use while integrating greenery and permeable surfaces, turning the campus into an urban park.
